What does SMART stand for?
Each card includes mechanic-specific YouTube search links. Tap any link to open YouTube and find the best instructional footage instantly.
πͺ Strength & Conditioning
Baseball and softball players need explosive rotational power, arm strength, hip stability, and injury prevention β not bodybuilder muscle. Every exercise here is designed specifically for on-field performance.
β οΈ Age-appropriate training safety
Ages 5β10: bodyweight only β no external resistance. Focus on movement patterns.
Ages 11β13: light resistance bands and very light dumbbells (3β8 lbs). High reps, perfect form.
Ages 14+: progressive loading with bands, dumbbells, medicine balls, and bodyweight.
Never train through pain. Soreness is normal; sharp or joint pain = stop immediately.
Always warm up 5β10 minutes before any resistance training session.

The parent takeaway system
After every session, parents leave with 1β2 drills, a mental training concept, and a focus word for the week. No more than 15 minutes a day. Consistency beats intensity.
Weekly home practice rules
β10β15 minutes max per day. Short focused sessions beat long unfocused ones. End on success.
βSame drill, 5 days. Repeat the assigned drill all week before moving on.
βParent watches, doesn't coach. One coach per player. Notes to share at next session.
βKeep it positive. Celebrate effort and attention to detail, not just results.
βReview the mental concept. Talk through the focus word at dinner or in the car.

π₯ AI Mechanic Analyzer
Upload a short video clip of your player performing a specific skill. Claude AI will analyze the mechanics, score each component, and compare it side-by-side with a professional athlete.
Select Skill to Analyze
Player name (optional)
Upload video clip
How it works: Upload your video, then scrub to key moments (stance, load, contact, finish) and tap Capture Frame at each one. The AI analyzes the captured frames β not the full video β so pick moments that show the mechanics clearly. 2β4 frames gives the best analysis.
